Dear Freshmen Representative, Coming into high school, it can be scary. Your leadership family will be there. You have your peers in leadership to count on and they will be there for you. Over time in this class, you will realize that your leadership family is the new family that will always be there for you. Your leadership family will become your best friends and your support system throughout the years and your time in high school. The friendships you make in this class will be the friendships that you will have for the rest of your life. Leadership might get overwhelming at some times in the year. You will be stressed. You will get anxious. To be real with you, there is a lot of responsibility that comes from being in the ASB program. You will have things that you need to accomplish and people will be counting on you. Tip: Always do things ahead of time. It is always better that you have things accomplished sometime prior to your deadline than rushing to get it done hours before the deadline. You have to give things your full effort. Coming from experience, things cannot have full effort if they are rushed to get done. The only way to give full effort to your responsibilities is to start ahead of time. It might seem like I’m really emphasizing this, but I am. I am because it is really important. Sincerely, Ximena Del Toro Freshmen Representative 2021-2022
